The short version
- We collect only what we need to trace, document and recover your holdings — and to run our business lawfully.
- Some of it is sensitive (PAN, bank and demat details, holding records, family and succession documents). We treat it as confidential and limit access to the people working on your case.
- We never sell your information, and we never ask for your passwords, OTPs or PINs.
- We share information only with the registrars, companies, authorities and service providers needed to progress your case — or when the law requires us to.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, by writing to info@moneyclaim.in.
This Privacy Policy explains how Infidhan Recovery Solutions LLP, operating as “MoneyClaim” (“MoneyClaim”, “we”, “us”, “our”), handles personal information when you visit our website (the “Website”), contact us, or engage us to trace and recover lost, forgotten or unclaimed investments. By using the Website or sharing your information with us, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not share your information with us.
1. Who we are and what this Policy covers
Infidhan Recovery Solutions LLP is a limited liability partnership registered under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008, with its registered office at No. 5, 1st Floor, Sri Sachyay Krupa Complex, Hulsur Bazaar, G Street, Jogupalyam, Halasur, Bangalore - 560008, Karnataka, India. We decide why and how the personal information described in this Policy is processed — in legal terms, we are the “body corporate” under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the “Data Fiduciary” under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
This Policy applies to:
- visitors to the Website;
- people who enquire about our services by WhatsApp, phone, email or in person;
- clients who engage us;
- legal heirs, nominees, co-holders and authorised representatives whose information is shared with us in connection with a case.
2. The laws we follow
We handle personal information in accordance with the laws of India, including:
- the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (the “SPDI Rules”), which apply today;
- the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 (together, the “DPDP Law”). Under the Government’s notifications, most of its provisions on notice, consent and individuals’ rights are being brought into force in phases, with the principal provisions due from May 2027. We have written this Policy and designed our practices so that they meet the DPDP Law as and when each provision applies;
- other laws that require us to keep or disclose records, such as tax, accounting and company-law requirements.
3. Information we collect
What we collect depends on how you interact with us. In the course of an enquiry or a recovery case, this may include:
What we never ask for: passwords, OTPs, PINs, CVV numbers, or your net-banking or demat login credentials. If anyone claiming to act for MoneyClaim asks for these, do not share them and please tell us immediately.
Under the SPDI Rules, financial information such as bank account and demat details is “sensitive personal data or information”. We collect it only with your consent and only for the purposes in section 5.
4. How we collect it
- From you — through WhatsApp, calls, email, meetings, and the documents you hand over or send.
- From others, on your authority — such as registrars and transfer agents, companies’ nodal officers, depositories and depository participants, mutual fund registrars, banks and the IEPF Authority, when we obtain holding statements, verification reports or status updates as part of your case.
- Automatically — basic technical information when you use the Website.
5. Why we use your information
We use personal information only for specific, stated purposes:
- to respond to your enquiry and book consultations;
- to trace and evaluate your holdings and tell you what looks recoverable;
- to prepare, execute and file documents, and to liaise with companies, registrars, depositories, banks and authorities on your behalf;
- to keep you updated on the progress of your case;
- to issue invoices, receive payments, and maintain accounts and tax records;
- to meet our legal, regulatory and professional obligations;
- to detect, prevent and investigate fraud, impersonation and misuse;
- to establish, exercise or defend legal claims;
- to improve the Website and our services, using aggregated or anonymised information where possible.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We do not use it for third-party advertising, and we do not make automated decisions about you. We send marketing messages only if you ask for them or consent to them, and you can opt out at any time.
6. Consent and your choices
- Consent. By contacting us or sharing documents with us, you consent to the processing described in this Policy. For sensitive personal data, we rely on your express consent, which may be given in writing, by email or by WhatsApp message.
- Legitimate uses. Once the relevant DPDP Law provisions are in force, we will also rely on the “legitimate uses” the law allows — for example, where you voluntarily give us information for a purpose you have told us about, or where processing is needed to comply with law.
- Withdrawing consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@moneyclaim.in. This does not affect processing already done lawfully. If you withdraw consent that is essential to your case, we may not be able to continue working on it, and we may need to keep certain records as the law requires.
- Information about other people. If you give us documents about a deceased holder or other heirs, you confirm that you are entitled to do so and that you will share only what is needed for the case.
8. Transfers outside India
Some tools we use — for example messaging, email, cloud storage, mapping and form-delivery services (including FormSubmit) — are provided by global companies and may process information on servers outside India. We choose reputable providers, limit what is shared, and will comply with any restrictions the law places on transfers to particular countries.
9. How we protect your information
We follow reasonable security practices and procedures, as the SPDI Rules require, which include:
- limiting access to the people working on your case, on a need-to-know basis;
- confidentiality undertakings for our personnel and associates;
- password-protected devices and accounts, and access-controlled storage for digital documents;
- keeping original documents in secure custody and returning them to you at the end of the engagement;
- sharing documents with companies and authorities only through the channels they require;
- secure deletion or disposal of information we no longer need.
No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs that affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
10. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes in section 5 and to meet legal, tax, accounting and professional record-keeping requirements. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. Original documents you gave us are returned to you at the end of the engagement; we may keep copies where the law or our professional obligations require, or where needed to defend a legal claim.
11. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct, complete or update inaccurate or outdated information;
- erase your information, unless we must keep it to meet a legal obligation;
- withdraw your consent (see section 6);
- address a grievance about how we have handled your information (see section 14);
- nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become unable to do so.
To make a request, write to info@moneyclaim.in. We may ask you to verify your identity first, and we will respond within the time prescribed by law.
12. Children
Our services are not directed at children under 18. Where a minor is a holder or legal heir, we deal only with the minor’s parent or lawful guardian, and we process the minor’s information only with that person’s verifiable consent, as the law requires.
14. Grievance Officer and complaints
